- PRELIMINARY BUDGET FOR 2024 NOTICE: TOWN OF AURELIUS NOTICE is hereby given that the Preliminary Budget for the Town of Aurelius for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2024, has been completed and filed in the office of the Town Clerk, 1241 West Genesee St Rd, Auburn, NY where it is available for inspection by any interested person during regular business hours, Monday-Thursday 10am to 1pm. FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Town Board of the Town of Aurelius will meet, and review said Preliminary Budget and hold a Public Hearing at the Town Hall on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 7:00pm, 1241 West Genesee St Rd, Auburn, NY 13021. At such hearing any persons may be heard in favor of or against the Preliminary Budget as compiled, or against any item or items therein contained. The Board will do their best to accommodate everyone that wishes to speak on the topic at hand, rules of decorum will be followed. Pursuant to Town Law, the proposed salaries of the following Town Officers are: Supervisor $18,768.00, Clerk/Collector $35,828.00, Council Members (4) $ 3,723.00 each, Justice $15,600.00, and Highway Superintendent $66,651.00.
